An excellent opportunity to get a highly paid profession in a prestigious airline.
The program has existed since 2008, more than 300 cadets have already been trained. Many of them continue their careers as First officers and Captains with Air Astana.
The training takes from 16 to 18 months at one of the best flight schools in Europe. Upon completion of training, cadets are employed by the company and are trained for the type of aircraft.
The cost of training is fully covered by the airline, and only 75% of the cost must be reimbursed over the next 15 years with the airline.
SELECTION PROCESS:
- Stage I : English language test (Intermediate), or a valid IELTS (Academic) 6.0 or TOEFL (IBT) 79 certificate (attach to the application form, in case of presence).
- Stage II : SHL test - psychometric tests that measure the candidate's success in working with a specific type of information (numerical SHL test involves working with numbers, graphs, tables; verbal test - with texts)
- Stage III : COMPASS test is a set of psychomotor and psychotechnical tests in the field of computerized pilot tests, verbal thinking, mathematics and physics.
- Stage I V : Certification of the Kazakhstan Medical Commission on the state of psychophysiological health (certificate VLEK Class 1).
- Certificate IELTS (Academic) 6.0 or TOEFL (IBT) 79.
- Stage V : The final stage, which consists of a simulator, a group task and an individual interview.
- Applications for the program are accepted throughout the year.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan from 18 to 34 years old
- Completed secondary or secondary special education;
- Good English knowledge, at least Intermediate level. At the final stage, language confirmation is required with an IELTS (Academic) 6.0 or TOEFL (IBT) 79 certificate;
- Knowledge of the basics of mathematics and physics;
- State of health that meets the requirements of the medical commission;
- Lack of a criminal record and marks in police reports;
- Possession of an international passport and compliance with the requirements for obtaining a Schengen visa.
