Dear Members and Partners,
We are delighted to invite you to join the webinar dedicated to the mental health among young generation organized in cooperation with Haileybury Almaty.
High quality pastoral care is at the centre of ensuring that young people develop and progress to their optimal level. At Haileybury Almaty they sum this up as being happy and successful - in that order. They strive to ensure that all pupils have strong emotional and physical wellbeing that enables them to learn most effectively. The modern world presents many new challenges for the wellbeing of all in society and developing the right habits and skills for life ahead is one of the key goals of a caring and forward thinking school community.
Mental Health has been a topic of much public discussion since the implementation of the first lockdown. In March 2020, everybody was wondering how long we were going to spend time inside. The whole education system was turned upside down. As teachers, parents and adults, we must support our children and ensure they are as comfortable and happy as possible. We will talk about how we support our pupils and the pastoral care in British education.
